Mid-Coast Electric Supply Inc., founded in 1968, is one of the largest and fastest growing electrical distributors in South Texas with 5 locations serving a large portion of Texas and Northern Mexico. As a full line electrical distributor we supply a wide range of electrical equipment to original equipment manufacturers, industrial MRO, factory automation, construction, utility and government market sectors.

The company is a multifaceted organization supporting a diverse business mix with heavy concentrations in the Industrial MRO, OEM, Automation and Construction markets.

• Industrial MRO supply is a core business for MCESI. With a broad range of industrial customers we are able to supply the deepest and most diverse inventory in the trading area. With configured supply arrangements we supply even more specific solutions to customer needs.


• Our OEM business unit provides a high level of sales and support for direct parts customer. Through a coordinated approach of guaranteed inventory, quick delivery, consignment and manufacturer negotiations MCESI is the dominant electrical supplier of direct parts in South Texas and Northern Mexico


• The MCESI Factory Automation team provides production solutions for many of the heavy industrial customers in South Texas. Our staff of specialists and account managers provides troubleshooting assistance, technology migration paths, training and general product support for the premier lines of factory automation in the world.


• Our Construction department supports very large to very small contractors with equal attention. Project management activities are supported by highly experienced account managers, product specifications, large inventory and delivery networks.
